Open House and Farewell Talk

We all went to Jordan's open house on Saturday. There was good food, and good family and friends. It was really neat to see all the people who love and support Jordan.

Alec made a really cute movie with pictures from Jordan's life up to this point. Also, those that obeyed Alec's request wrote a little something to Jordan, and Alec put those words in the video. It was very touching to see how Jordan's siblings look up to him, and what a good example and influence he is to them. Perhaps Alec will put the video on YouTube or something so we can load it up on the blog for everyone's viewing.

Today (Sunday) at 11:00, Jordan gave his "farewell talk" (even though that's not what they are called now) at his home ward in Santa Clara. He had a very well prepared talk about Coming Unto Christ, that he presented very well. He really has a strong testimony and love for the gospel. Jordan is going to be a great missionary. Here are a few pictures we took at the open house. Some of them are fuzzy because I did not know how to use the camera I had available... Sorry!
